Construction Notes:

Corset is a red rose jacquard purchased off eBay.  I opted to use the wrong side of the fabric, as the rose pattern on the back was more fitting for the design, I felt.  The lining is a 100% cotton I had from a previous costume.  The boning channels were made from various bias tape scraps, and the boning is large, plastic zipties.  The lace was dyed pink, and sewn on before sewing the pink translucent bead strings on.  The pearls are hand strung and sewn on, and the back is laced through gussets with white parachute cord.  The gold detailing on the front bow and on the very back (unfortunately hidden by the wig) was done with gold embossing powder.  The bottom ruffle is a coral chiffon hemmed and put through a ruffler.

The bloomers were hand-patterned.  The light parts is a matte satin dyed with a mix of orange dye and purple shimmer ink.  The orange panels are a pink chiffon dyed orange.  The bottom ruffles are dyed to match-- both made from chiffon, and run through the ruffler.  The red bands are separate, bias tape with elastic on the inside.

The tights are a pair of light pink solid tights, and cream lace tights-- both purchased.  The shoes are store bought with lace and details added.  The arm cuffs and ankle cuffs are bias tape-- arms red dyed with a purple bath, and ankles pink dyed in an orange bath.  The garter straps were purchased, and the thigh bands were made from a pre-existing pair of stockings cut and hemmed.

Hair decorations are two fake flowered with bobby pins on the back, and hand-strung pearls held with bobby pins.
